Could be better – read on
The staff was welcoming and eager to assist, but the room showed signs of neglect, including unclean surfaces and maintenance issues. It’s a bit isolated, requiring transport to reach nearby attractions. Breakfast options were limited and often lukewarm, which was disappointing. Truly, this place has potential but needs significant improvements to match expectations.

Amazing breakfast options and friendly staff.
Unfortunately, our stay was marred by persistent issues. The air conditioning in our room was ineffective, leaving us uncomfortably warm at night. Despite bringing this to the front desk's attention, it took too long to get a proper fix, which resulted in a restless first night. Additionally, the location felt more geared towards locals than tourists, making it challenging to explore the nearby attractions easily.

The recent stay was very enjoyable, especially appreciated the welcoming attitude of the staff. The breakfast had plenty of options, and the pool area provided a relaxing spot after a long day exploring. While the location is a bit distant from the main attractions, it was manageable with easy access to public transport. The room was clean and comfortable but could benefit from a few maintenance updates.

Had an amazing group vacation! We explored the stunning Plaza de España and enjoyed the beautiful Real Alcázar. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was decent, though the selection could be better. Staff were friendly and always willing to help with tips about getting around.
The air conditioning in our room didn’t seem to work well, which made it uncomfortable during warmer days.

The breakfast was a bit of a letdown with undercooked bacon and overcooked eggs, but the pool and garden were fantastic spots to chill out. Each day, we soaked up some sun by the pool and enjoyed leisurely walks through the garden area, which was a perfect way to unwind after sightseeing. The only downside was the pillows being a bit too big for my liking, but that didn’t ruin the fun! 😊

I spent 3 nights in the Deluxe Double or Twin Room at Occidental in Rome. The location may not be central, but the bus stop right outside made getting around easy. The room was clean and spacious. The air conditioning worked well, a nice relief from the summer heat. The breakfast selection was pretty decent, with options changing daily. The staff really stood out. they were friendly and helpful, especially when I needed directions. However, I ran into some issues. The refrigerator in my room didn't work, which I mentioned to the front desk, but it took a while for them to address it. Also, the shower area felt cramped. I bumped my elbow on the glass shelf more than once. Noise from the street made it hard to sleep on a few nights. Overall, I had a good time, but the maintenance and noise levels could use improvement.

Excellent stay with friendly staff and good breakfast
I had a fantastic time during my three-night stay, enjoying the comfort of my room and the delicious breakfast offerings, especially the fresh pastries and eggs. The public transport was conveniently accessible right outside, making it easy to explore the city. However, I wish the air conditioning had worked better during the warmer days.

The room was very clean and spacious, with high-end bathroom features like a rain shower. Breakfast options need improvement, though the biscuits were enjoyable. Despite the comfort of a nice mattress, the room had two combined beds instead of one double, which made for an awkward sleep. However, the transportation access was convenient, with public transport nearby and a short taxi ride to key attractions.
